The World's Most Underused Domain Name Sold For $12m

Sex.com, potentially the worlds most lucrative domain names has been sold in deal worth an estimated $12m in cash and stock.

Escom, a group of anonymous buyers, have acquired the domain from Match.com founder, Gary Kremen. The deal ranks as the largest domain name sale of all time, besting the sale of business.com for $7.5m back in the heady days of the dot com boom.
